Elise Marshall Obtains a Defense Verdict

Jury Verdict – In April of 2019, Elise R. Marshall successfully defended her client in connection with a negligence action filed in the Barnstable Superior Court. Plaintiff claimed significant personal injuries after being thrown from a motorized scooter in the paved shoulder of Route 28 in Falmouth, Massachusetts, in August of 2014. The Defendant maintained the vehicle she was operating never contacted the Plaintiff’s scooter; and any injury and/or damages claimed were the direct result of Plaintiff’s own negligence. The case was tried to jury from April 22, 2019 – April 25, 2019. Before the Honorable Mark Gildea and a jury. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the Defendant. Zielinski v. Grunin, 1772 CV 00381.
